Who is eligible?
MD’s, DO’s and DPM’s who are currently Certified Wound Specialists (CWS) are eligible to take the CWSP exam. For more information about CWS eligibility, see the CWS frequently asked questions.

When is the exam offered?
To find a testing center nearest you, visit www.psiexams.com and follow these instructions:
-Click on Certification/Professional Associations
-Select American Academy of Wound Management as the sponsor
-Click on Test Centers under Information Links section on right
-Fill out the form to see up to 20 Testing Centers matching your specified criteria.

How do I apply?

How much is the exam fee?
The exam fee is $750.

How is the exam structured?
Written exams will be 200 computer-based, multiple-choice questions. Anyone sitting for the written exam prior to the development of the oral exam will be exempt from taking the oral examination.

Does AAWM offer courses to help me prepare for the exam?
The AAWM is legally restricted from endorsing or recommending any wound care examination review course.
