New Certification for Physicians

AAWM is now offering a wound care certification specifically developed for physicians. MD’s, DO’s and DPM’s who are currently Certified Wound Specialists (CWS) are eligible to take the CWSP exam. First exam to be given in September. Application materials and candidate handbook coming soon!

Kelly Smith Named Pharmicist of the Year
April 18, 2008 - Public Board of Directors member Kelly Smith, Pharm.D., BCPS, FASHP, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, has been selected as the Kentucky Pharmacists Association (KPhA) 2008 Pharmacist of the Year. She will be presented the honor for her service to patients and the profession during the130th Annual KPhA Meeting in Lexington on June 20.
